Dan and I are celebrating just being in Love:
While Nana is in town, Dan and I were going to take full advantage of her here, Dan surprised me with a weekend getaway. He got a night stay at the Anniversary Inn.
This was our first time and we stayed at Anniversary Inn and got the Treasure Island room. Every innuendo you can think of, we thought of it: The seas were not calm, the ship was a rockin', We found buried treasure, "Yo Ho! Arrrr Maty," Saw stars; it was prefect!
We got breakfast in bed at 10:00 am; that NEVER happens and the tub was the best. Big enough for two :) Anniversary Inn likes to say to that they "Rediscover the Magic" of marriage, as we were driving back home to reality, Dan said we (Dan and I) never have lost the magic.
It was a fun getaway and when we walked in the door, the kids were sad that we were home, they wanted us to leave again. They have way too much fun with Nana. They went to the park, played at Mickey D's and built forts.
Sounds like we all had a fun weekend. Here's to getaways!

I've never been there either, our eight year is coming up soon, but with the new baby I don't know if an overnight is possible, but maybe we will soot for our eight year, nine month and five day, just like you!

How fun. Maybe one year Curtis and I will go away... is 13 a lucky year? ;)
