Look close...Something is Gone!My Wedding Ring!!!
Now, before you have weird thoughts about Dan and I, we are FINE.
Today I had to go and get my ring cut off. Notice my finger, you can see just how tight my ring was. I tried everything to get it off, so I wouldn't have to cut it.
We tried butter, dental floss, windex, and even freezing my finger...nothing worked.
See, it will be 10 years of marriage bliss this year and my ring never was taken off, so with four kids later, my body has been through some weight change, well, my finger grow and my ring got stuck.
Dan was sick of the idea of having to cut the ring off, but I really had no other choice, my finger was swelling from discomfort.
Dan takes me to the jeweler, but refuses to come into the store with me. He said it would be too hard and painful to watch.
Off comes my ring, my eyes begin to tear, and my finger can finally breath!
So, now I have a naked chubby finger, awaiting my wedding ring again...

Christy- I know how sad it is to have to cut off your wedding ring. I had to do it about a month ago. I was so sad, but glad to get it off. Love you girl!
I had to do the same thing about 2 years ago. It was the weirdest thing..all of the sudden, one day my ring wouldn't budge. I think it had to do with the fertility drugs I was on. My fingers swelled. I cried when they cut it off. If it's any consolation...you would NEVER notice my ring was destroyed. It looks just fine. Yours will come back great too! In the meantime, let your swollen finger rest. I know mine was twice it's normal size after much pulling and squeezing. Good luck.
