Today, Our little Miss Delanie had her end of the year Kindergarten program.
There was singing, dancing, laughs, a little reading too, and lots of smiles.
It was a fun afternoon, watching and seeing what Lanie has learned this past year. Here is proof that she has finished Kindergarten and is heading for all day 1st grade come this Fall. Lanie is excited to be able to play on the big playground and eat in the cafeteria.
Mrs. Mikulecky said some of Lanie's strength were, good helper, knows all of her sight words, friends with everyone, nice hand writing, and a little OCD (the supplies would always have to be organized by Lanie, making sure they were correct and clean. She loves to be detailed.)
Lanie has learned how to read as well as losing a mouth full of teeth.
Lanie,
Know that you are a very smart girl which makes mom happy. You are also a very beautiful girl which scares your dad. Maybe that is where his hair went; fell out. You are already talking about a boy named Tyler that you think is cute. Remember, boys are yucky and dad says you can't even sit by boys.
With you going into first grade and being in school all day, who is going to help me with C&C? You were my big helper with the two of them.
You are growing so fast and are an example to me on how to enjoy life.
We love you so much! Congratulations my soon to be first grader!
