What a day!

It must be a big day today...they are throwing a BIG party in Washington DC and it's all for me??
See today is MY birthday!

The kids (with the help of Dan) got me one of my favorites: a peanut butter chocolate ice cream cake from Cold Stone. The kids were all excited to give me the cards/pictures that they worked so hard on while I was on my mini trip.

Dan gave me a mini weekend trip to Veges THIS weekend!

I get another getaway with Dan (no kids) Birthday trip #2! I can't wait to spend time with Dan.

You know what they say about Vegas...what happens there, stays there. :)

Thanks Feef and Kory ahead of time for watching the kids. We owe you, we already know, don't need to rub it in. Let is just enjoy the trip.
In the evening...some of my girlfriends wanted to take me out for dinner. It was either that or enrichment...Wow! I feel the love!

Hey, how did this random picture get on this post... Did I spend my birthday there??? Eliza would know. I did get to catch up on my Family Fun magazine reading for a short time. Off to Red Robin with the girls. (I LOVE the A1 Peppercorn Burger. I highly recommend it!)
I have the best girl friends! They made me feel special on my day.
Thanks for the love, the gifts, the laughs, and your friendships.

In fact, I want to thank Everyone who sent me texts, email, and phone calls to send their love and well wishes. That means a lot. I know you all have busy lives and for you to take time and think of me, means a lot!

This is my last year in the twenties...I plan to live it up and have fun this year.

In fact, I plan to collect things/special events of this upcoming year and then at my 30th birthday, write notes to my kids and seal up the package and then when the kids reach their 30th birthday they can open the timecapsule. Something the kids (and myself) can look back on and see how things use to be.
So here is to being 29! Happy Birthday to ME! (and many more)
