Lesson Learned:

NEVER promise kids something...they NEVER forget and will constantly remind you until you do what you PROMISED...(even if it is the day Nana and Pappy are heading to the airport in a couple of hours.)
A Promise is a Promise!
The kids wanted to so badly make these reindeer cookies that Nana was telling them about before Christmas, and the next thing we know is that it is the day that Nana and Paps are leaving and the cookies never got made; we were just that busy doing all kinds of fun things, but the kids were dying to make these cookies...
So Nana can't break a promise to her grandkids, those kids are her life and whatever the kids want, Nana gives them. Aren't Nana's wonderful?!?!

So, here are the finished "reindeer" cookies. The cookies started out as reindeer, but then the kids let their creative run wild. The kids had just as much fun decorating the cookies as they did helping Nana adding the ingredients...

....and everyone else enjoyed eating all the cookies. With all of us, Feef, and Nana/Pappy, the cookies didn't last long at all. It was good that I captured them in pictures, because the rest is history, gone and in our bellies.

Way to go kids and making sure that this promise wasn't broken. All your hard work paid off and tasted great!

Now if you were that persistence on cleaning your rooms or doing your laundry...I would be just as grateful for all your hard work as your cookie making.
