Sometime you just have to "Beach"

Sometimes we all can use some good old Beachin' to get you through the day...

...and that is for sure what we did!!!

Well, with 45 of us (29 being grandkids) we were for sure noticed, but that didn't stop us from having fun on the beach. With that many people/kids there is always someone to hang out with. There is nothing better to start the morning off with sand in your toes and ending the evening with sand in everyother crack you have. We would sometimes stop our play and walk to Jane's Corn Dogs for the best lemonade and corn dogs ever. Like I said before, life is rough, and sometimes a good "Beach" can cure any "Bad Day." and we got to do this for an entire week! (oh, and I must give a shout out for the best doughnut shop ever! Nothing is better then a white cake/vanilla frosting with rainbow sprinkles doughnut at 1:00 AM. There needs to be more 24- hour doughnut stores. Thanks Crystel for the yummy treats! We love you and miss you already!!! )
This was a eventful trip to remember: Kenzie and Lanie, (as well as some of their cousins; Annalyse, Kylee, Baylee, and Oliva; the "second generation" of the girl grandkids) were able to boggie board and the two of them decied to each get one for their trip treat. It was the best $70.00 we spent the whole trip! Each of the girls would boggie board all day long, some days not even stopping for a corn dog to eat. Kenzie by the end of the day was raw from the sand and board, but didn't want to stop, because of the fun she was having. It was cute to watch them "grow up" and do things the "older" cousins do. Kenzie at one point said, "I want to boggie borad forever!" So when she one day meets a California boy who loves to surf and they move out to a beachfront home FAR AWAY from me, please remind me that it was Dan's idea to buy the boggie borads for the girls!!!
