...Your never too young to have a golf club in your hand!
So on Friday afternoon, we took the kids over to Liberty Land, (newly opened in Lehi next to the freeway) for a game of miniature golf.
As you can see, we had a good time and this was the first time Carson and Cassie played, so they were in ah with the whole thing. Don't get me wrong, Carson has a set of his own clubs that he hits around at home and on the driving range, (hence Dan's theory from above) but to play mini golf, they both thought it was cool.
Cassie has NO golf etiquette and no matter who's ball she sees, she will hit it, even though she knows HERS is pink. Dan is a great teacher with the kids and has more patientence then I do with the kids when it comes to golf. He wants/wishes that at least one of he kids will "play" golf, so he can have excuses to play more.***One cool moment was on hole number 13, when Carson hit the ball into the hole on the first try...a whole in one!!!*** Dan was soooo impressed and you could see the thoughts that were running in his head. Tiger Woods look at out, Carson will be your next threat.
So a word of advice, tell you kids what will happen on hole 18 to save you grief after a fun afternoon...but it was nothing a Gatorade couldn't fix. Off to the gas station for a drink.
It was a fun day and Dan was in heaven even if it was only miniature golf...
a bad day of golf is better then a good day at work!

Cute! So how is Liberty Land? Did you check out the whole thing or just the golf?
Seriously when will a golf place learn just to charge and extra dollar and let the kids keep the D ball! Geesh - we go through it every time - so I don't know if telling them is the answer... by the end the ball is their favorite toy...especially after a hole in one! Way to go Carson!!
