I am honored...

...my girlfriend Jenny "Greenbean" from W-A-Y back (since middle school) gave me a "e blog" friendship award. We knew of each other at Sumpter Elementary, but really meet at Judson Middle School when I asked her to carry my books/bag when I was recovering with crutches after my hip surgery...from that moment on, our friendship became stronger through the years.
We were like sisters, we had fights about things, just like sister do, but where there for each other when we needed each other the most. I still remember the weekend I spent with Jenny, caring for her when she got her wisdom teeth out. And just how silly we were about boys; (Do you remember Jenny how we meet Darrin Pain..."Do you have an egg we can borrow?"

What about driving down Commercial street with our tanning glasses on while we were driving... and the stake dances we went to when we turned 14 and thought they were cool and once 16 came, on to "real" dates.

What about when we broke into the missionaries' house and cleaned for them, Or playing basketball with Paul, Shaun, Billy. Or the phone calls that you made for me to Marc Sanchez because I was too scared... Oh, the memories!!!

Now look at us: married to great guys, moms with 4 kidos and taking each day at a time, seeing what life may throw our way.

(Pictures of the two of us at least 10 years ago)
Here is what Jenny wrote about me when she gave me the award:

"although we are far apart and haven't seen each other in many years, I am glad for our friendship through our blogs. I get to peak in on her life and you mine as though we are still close by. I will also never forget the best gift you ever gave me...the gospel. That gift will continue on though my children, their children, and so forth. Forever thanks."

What we had was and still is special even though life is now different. I will always treasure what we had. Thanks for allowing me to stop for a moment and remember the good times that we shared.

Now I must pass the award on to 5 of my friends and they must do so as well...

I really have thought about why I have picked each of the following:

Eliza: She loves music more then I do, which is saying a lot, I LOVE music...it doesn't matter what kind, I know how to grove and boogie down to it all. Plus, she loves American Idol and NKOTB (new kids on the block) she was the one who wants to go to the concerts with me. I love her for that!

Jenny R. You have to have "balls" to be my friend and that is what Jenny has! I love everything about her! Her and I meet just a few years ago, but it is like we are long lost sisters. We have so much in common, but at the same time (both are the oldest and favorite kids, love scrapbooking and our families, reality shows) so different. (we live in different states, different religion, shes has one kid, I have 4. We get each other. I love her and treasure her friendship!

Corina: This girl is truly priceless! There is nothing this girl can't do!! She is so savvy and can take any "junk" and turn it into a piece of work. She is such a go-getter and never slows down. Life won't pass her by and she has taught me to just "make it" on my own. I am glad that I love her, because one day her son Conner and my Delanie will get married.
Christina: I think this girl and I are living double lives...are names are the same, we both have "Delanies", and our youngest both have the middle name "Mae." We both love to scrapbook and have enough supplies to own our own store. One day CC's creative cafe will exist...this I promise you! We are now twiners when it comes to our bike; pink "Roxie" cruisers. She teaches me the tricks and the trades of fashion and make-up. I love her for the support she gives her friends and how she is always opened minded about life.

Feef: My one and only sister! I am thankful for her for all the unnecessary drama she brings to our family. She keeps life interesting and I have learned to roll with the flow when she is around. I love her for her because there is no changing her; we have tried. There is only one of her. She loves having things planned and to be on time...this will change once she has kids, I promise you. She makes me laugh and that is important. I love her so much!

To all my other friends: thanks for being there, for being a part of my life, for your listening ears, for your support, for the fun girls night outs, for the laughs and tears, for being who you are, for your opinions and your beliefs, without you all my life would be pretty boring. Thank You all, Near and Far. Know that you are loved and I look up to you all in someway or another.
THANK YOU!

You're trying to get me in trouble again. I'm ready to come to Utah again. Kiss the kids for me.
