When the Boys are away...

...The Girls will PLAY!!!
Tonight since Dad and Carson were out at Father's and Son's, I thought it would be fun to have a "girls" night with the funnest girls in town...My own girls!

The girls talked about what they wanted to do; Bowling, Movie, or Kangaroo Zoo and the movie won, So we headed in the car to the dollar theater to go watch Horton Hears a Who. So cute, I would recommend it to all ages.

Here are the girls with their OWN popcorn treats. That is how the movie won over the other options... Getting their own goodies and NOT having to share.
So with the treats, popcorn, and drinks, we are ready for the movie to start: Lights are down and the movie begins... It is fun and we all enjoy it. Even Cassie sits through the whole movie, which is a big deal, the last movie we took the twins, (Alvin and the chipmunks) Dan had to take them out to the car and sit there the entire time, Not even 10 minutes into the movie, so for Cassie to sit through this movie, was a big accomplishment.

After the movie, we headed home for the rest of our "girls" night...Earlier in the day, when down in Salt Lake, I was introduced to this cute little cupcake shop. I am always looking for fun and unique stores. Something where you can find something from the normal, something that calls out "I'm Special!" This place is full of the yummiest, cutest, mini cupcakes. In fact, their business cards read, "Cupcakes make me Happy." How can you disagree with that??? And they are mini, so having two, you don't have to feel a bit guilty at all, isn't that the best part???

So knowing that we were going to have a girl's party, I bought a few...What goes better at a girl's night out then sweets. Look at how cute they are. Check out their website for better pictures, more up close and personal ones. I know there are a lot of you out there that like to actually make desserts, (Not me, I would rather buy them, I appreciate them more that way.) go and see all the different flavors they have to offer. It is a cupcake lovers dream come true.
Now back to our girl's party... Here is who I was hangin with. Look at them with their cupcakes.

Lanie and Kenzie picked the "Breakfast with Tiffany's" cupcakes and Cassie of course, picked "The Diva" cupcake. I got the peanut butter chocolate one. Yummy!!!

Look at Lanie's eyes...I think this picture tells you exactly what she is thinking at this point. She is excited to taste that cupcake and can you blame her???

Cassie, you look so dainty with that cupcake, she wanted to have a taste test before the dive in. Here is another up close picture again of those cupcakes: check out the website, you won't be disappointed, I promise you. Again the name is Mini's and they will make you happy.

After the cupcakes, we all gathered around on the floor and I did all of the girls glitter toes and we watched That's so Raven together on Disney.

It was a fun night with just us girls, maybe Dan and Carson should go out more often together so us girls can play more often too. Here's to the next "girl's" night.
