I just don't get it?!??!

This is what I have been listening to the last little bit...Kids at the window.

It FINALLY has been a beautiful day, so I sent the kids out to play and no more then 10 minutes, this is what they were doing...I just don't get it!

During the cold nasty Winters, all they want to do is play outside and now that it is Summer and they can play all day long in the warm sunshine; they don't want to. The kids have the entire back yard to themselves, with every play toy every invented; but instead I get to hear every excuse in the book..."We are hot, I have to use the bathroom, I am bored, She/He is not sharing, I want something to eat/drink, Can you come out with us, the bugs are going to get me, I got hurt and need a band-aid, I have a poopie," and so on and so on.
They say they would rather watch TV...I don't think so. Go outside and wear yourself out.
The harder they play the better. "Go out and have some fun."
Sometimes I just don't get the minds of kids and the certain ways they think.
Anyone else have this problem???

Isn't it true that the grass is always greener somewhere else (anywhere else)? Sounds like they need some greener grass! I tell ya, Maggie is playing outside from 1pm-8pm everyday, I can't get her inside-- send them my way!
