A Picture Perfect Evening.

For "Family Night" this week we headed over to the Thanksgiving Point Gardens (Lehi, Ut.) and spent the evening there enjoying the sights and sounds of it. If anyone hasn't been there, I would recommend it. So beautiful to sum it up in a nutshell. This was our first time and we couldn't believe how it keep going and no details were left out.

They have a "Secret Garden" that is great for any photo opportunity, a lake full of lilly pads and fish to watch. They have Greek columns and the "Greek goddess" were there for a picture. (notice in the photo) They have a claim for fame for the biggest man made waterfall in all of North America. It is amazing. There are flowers, shrubs, trees, streams and paths to follow. One of the kids favorite things was a giant hill and it is extremely big, they had a good time rolling all the way down it. Nothing but giggles and smiles. After our adventures were done, they got a Popsicle and were asleep in the car before we left the parking lot. We wore them out. (It is easily acres and acres of property.)
Every Monday night, they have a theme and is directed for families. I added the link to their website so you can see the upcoming events they have planned. We plan on going again and be watching for pictures; they are having the 2nd annual jello fight. (July 14th) And the following week is Monday Night Idol. (July 21) We'll be there for that for sure. Also, we have a membership, so is anyone wants to tag along with us, you get half off your admission.

We just bought a membership as well, but we haven't made it to the gardens yet. We will have to do that next.
