Throwback Thursday:

The Evaluation of my Hair: Part 1
1980: Notice my mom's hair...Charlie's Angels

early 80's: Sleek and Shine
See, I have always been an angel...notice the halo.
1983: Any girl born in the 80's, their parents loved Dorothy Hamill and wanted their kids to sport the same ice skater's hair. My Sister is styling the comb-over at the early age of 1.
Roughly 1984: Mullet!
What the ^%*$^@ were my parents thinking.
No matter the age or era, it is not cute on anyone and should not be ok.
It is cruel and just plan rude to have to sport that hair style, let alone make people look at you when you walk down the street.
Roughly 1984: I LOVE this picture for a couple reasons.
1st-my sister's face
2nd-my mom's BIG hair
3rd-this is Christmas Morning most likely 7ish and my mom's hair and makeup is completely done.
Notice, my mullet is still there, a bit longer, but still there, bangs and all.
Roughly 1987: Short and Sweet
Let the perms begin, and sadly it won't be the end.
Notice my sister's sides, the Farrah Fawcett wisps.
(I loved those dresses, they were made just for us, with a bell in the bottom and when I danced, you could hear me coming. Awesome, I know. Also, this is not the first of matching dresses...keep that in mind.)

1989: Long again with straight bangs
1990: Age 10 and the perm has returned!
This time it's the bangs!
The taller the better, right??!?!

Well, that is the first 10 years of the evaluation of my hair...I know, crazy! How could I ever survive, but hey, in the 80's you could get away with it.
Next week, I can promise that the pictures are even better and the hair is even bigger.
Next week...Evaluation of my Hair: Part 2

So funny!!!! I love, love, love, love, love it! Seriously, I sometimes think our parents were on crack. My hair was horrible and I always thought it was because my mom raised 4 boys before me and just didn't know better. Turns out none of our parents knew better!

I seriously just peed my pants laughing at your sisters face in the one picture on Christmas morning. I'm sure she HATES you for putting that picture up.

Regardless of the hair, you are a super cute girl. I love the pictures.

Miss you tons.
