Today, Delanie comes up to Dan and informs him,
That TODAY is the BEST day EVER.

Dan asks "why?" with a smirk on his face.
Lanie replies, "First I get to have a doughnut date with my Dad at school this morning."
(Dan's faces smiles with pride)
"It's pizza for lunch today."
(Lanie loves the school's hot lunch when it has to do with pizza)
"...and we get to go swimming tonight at the legacy center."
"...and we get to go swimming tonight at the legacy center."
Dan smiles and agrees with Lanie, gives her a hug after the doughnut date and tells Lanie to enjoy the Best Day...EVER.
So, through the eyes of a little 7 year old, I can see why today is the BEST Day Ever.
***Kids can teach us that we need to make the best of the little things and to appreciate even the smallest things...and maybe, we as adults, can also say, that Today's going to be the best day ever.***
