that is how I feel; going on day 9 of this crap!
Last night Corina took me to the after hours office and the Doc. there was not going to let me tell HIM what I had. Earlier in the week, I went in and told him that I had a sinus infection, but he didn't think so. He said it was a cold and after a few days, all should be better...I think NOT!
If you were lucky enough to talk with me, pure congestion.
So last night, the Doc. told me I was borderline sinus infection, BUT the Target Pharmacy told me (after my $74.00 bottle of medicine) that something "that" strong isn't something to play with. "You must have a really bad sinus infection if the Doc. gave you something this strong"
Oh, but remember...I was borderline is what the Doc. told me.
He knew I was right all a long.
Sometimes Doctors need to listen to the patient instead of playing "Know it all"
Feeling crummy isn't fun...

Oh yes, I have horror stories too about doctors not listening. When Kennedy was three I took her to the doctor 3 times (to 3 different doctors) because I knew something was wrong. Each told me, "Just a cold, no big deal it will go away on it's own soon." Well, finally I took her to the ER and refused to leave until they figured out what was wrong. After EIGHT hours, they finally found out she had pneumonia. She was admitted to the hospital for FIVE days. "Just a cold, no big deal...." Whatever! You definitely need to trust your own instincts.
Do you sit and think of how much each pill is costing you - putting $5 in your mouth twice a day?? :) I hope you get better soon - Liza and I may need an accomplice...

I get sinus infections ALL the time! They are the worst. I hope you get better really soon! I shouldn't admit this...but I have a source in my family that can call me in antibiotics when I know I have one. It is the best thing EVER! I never have to convince a doc of a sinus infection again!

Oh you poor thing...im so sorry and I hope you feel better soon! I hate getting sinus infections and more importantly hate it when Dr's dont listen! Hang in there! :)
I heard that almost ALL prescriptions that you can get generic are $4.00 at Wal-Mart. Something about them wanting to take hold of the pharmaceutical market? Anyways, you’ll have to check it out if you need any more…hopefully you wont though! Oh, and I‘m still waiting for Marshmallow Chocolate Eggs to get added to the list!
OH man... those are totally street worthy drugs.... at least $10 a pop.
