Swing Batter: after I get my bag of peanuts that is...

Tonight for FHE, We headed up North for our first Bees Baseball game of the season.

Nothing says baseball like having the sun shining, stadium hot dogs, a bag of peanuts, cotton candy, drunk fans, a giant bumble bee, and us together as a family ready for a ol' fashion baseball game.

Front row, right in front of the 3rd base next to the visitor's dugout, was our seats for the three hour game. I never had to watch the game so close, but sitting that close, you surly have to watch for foul balls.

It was a fun time, (once the sun went behind the stadium) but I could have gone without Cassie getting pinched in the folding chairs 3 different times. Bless her heart, she just didn't get how to sit still.

I was cheering on the players; hootin' and hollerin' and you could tell that Kenzie and Lanie were getting embarrassed by my actions. They don't know what they are in for with me as their mom, I enjoy each moment. I even got a wink from one of the "other" players when I called out his name. We had a moment; a bond is what we shared. ;)
During the bottom of the 8th, a player from the team came up to Carson and handed him a ball from the game. Carson was pretty excited and talked about it the whole way home till he was quite...A tired boy after a long day had fallen asleep in the car.
The kids are already asking when they can go again.
