Ice Cream and Cousins =

A Fun Sleep Over.

My kids have been dying and begging me to have them host a sleep over with their cousins; (Late nights are with friends, but the kids know that with cousins, they get to have sleep overs) They love spending time together and get along with each other.

So, throw together 6 kids in the range of 4 to 9 in age, ice cream, toppings, don't forget the sprinkles and whipping cream, and you get lots of yummy creations that didn't last long before it was in the bellies of happy kids.

I enjoy having family around, but we live the furthest south (about 30 minutes from everyone else) so, it is perfect in my eyes. Close enough to make it to all the family get-togethers, BUT far enough away to not have surprise visitors...the family thinks about it before making the LONG drive down south.

Family is important and when I look back on my family when I was younger, I am thankful for the fun things we did together and how we were there to support each other. It might have been birthdays, graduations, camping, holidays, or just Sunday lunches, I can remember that my family was there, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

I can only hope that my very own kids, nieces, and nephews know that I will be there for them and that family is the real thing that is important in this life.
