Meet the Happy Couple:

I would like to introduce Brooke and Jess Bedke.

This past weekend, We were able to throw us all in the car and head up North to Oakley, Idaho to celebrate with the new happy couple. Brooke is my cousin and it was crazy to think that she is old enough to get married. She looked so beautiful and the girls loved her "pretty princess" dress.

Brooke and Jess actually got married in the Portland Temple on April 17, but we were unable to attend up in Oregon, so we were excited to hear that they were having a reception in Idaho.

Brooke and Jess met up at BYU-Idaho and fell in love while they were up there.

Jess is from Oakley, Idaho; a city that has 668 people in it. I think the whole town came to wish the happy couple love and well wishes.

I noticed all the same wrapped gifts and wondered where you shop in a town that size. I only really saw a Super Walmart when we were driving in, which was in the city of Burley. (about 30 minutes away.) I had to go and peak at the gifts...they were all from ACE Hardware!

I giggled to myself, I am sure that they were very practical gifts!

Another reason why we headed up North was to see Grandma and Grandpa Casper!

Yes, the grandma that gave us quite a scare this past Fall.
(She was near death and I had to rush home to say my good-byes, but she is a fighter and pulled through!)
It was good for us all to be able to spend time with the two of them. They are traveling through Idaho and maybe Utah; we will have to see how Grandma's health is.
It was important for me to get pictures with them; you never know what tomorrow may bring.

The kiddos loved talking Grandma's ear off. I am sure Grandma was just tired watching the twins, but at least she was smiling.

It was fun to get away for a weekend and spend time with Family and Friends.
I wish Brooke and Jess a life together, full of love and happiness.
Marriage is a great thing!
Life is not easy, so having the support and love from your best friends and partner, makes whatever life throws at you a bit easier.
