Today for Family Night,
we were able to go to the Draper Temple open house.
A temple open house allows all; members, kids, non-member, people of all kinds with all beliefs to walk through the halls of the temple.
Mackenzie's favorite part was the baptismal font and Cassie loved the "animals" (statues of oxes) that hold up the font. Carson liked looking at all the pictures of Jesus and Lanie loved all the sparkle chandeliers in the brides' room.

I am glad that my kids were able to experience this. I was 9 at my last temple open house; the Portland Oregon Temple.
Walking through the temple with my family and feeling what I felt, knowing what goes on within the walls of the temple. You can't help feel the holiness and spirit. I am so glad to have a testimony of this gospel and most importantly, teach me kids the importance of the temples.
What goes on in them, is what our church believes completely...
...That our FAMILY CAN BE FOREVER!
...That our FAMILY CAN BE FOREVER!
After we die here on earth, it is not over for me and my family.
We will live together in Heaven for all of eternity. We will always have each other and to me that is what I live for now here on earth.
My Family is the most important thing to me and I am so lucky to have them.
***If you want to find out more information of the temple or what else we believe, go to LDS' web page and your questions will be answered.***
