Thanks to the good ol' Urban Dictionary, I was able to find the top 10 examples of the word "GHETTO"
10) Yelling at your boo in the middle of the street
9) Using the walkie-talkie feature on your cell to discuss personal drama in order to save minutes
8) Dressing for work like you are going to the club
7) Wearing house slippers outside the house
6) Taking pride in being broke
5) Flashing money you don't have instead of making your money last.
4) Having a new ride with large chrome rims but don't have a job.
3) Wearing your same clothes 5 days in a row but keeping them clean and pressed.
2) Running from the cops for no reason just to see if they can catch you.
AND
the Number #1 definition of "Ghetto" is...
1) Keeping the plastic on your couch for extra protection.
YES, that is right, Dan and I are "Ghetto"
BUT
we have a really good reason why...
We are STILL waiting for the cushions to come in at IKEA and until they come in stock, we are proud to be "Ghetto" to keep sticky hands and dirt off the couch.
So, go ahead, stereo type us...
at least the couch is protected, AND that is what matters.
;)
