A Happy Place...

Nana was in town this past weekend; she wanted to be with the ones that she loved for the Valentines holiday, and who does she love more??? Her Grandkids!

And there is no question that the kids love their Nana too.

They could be playing the wii or just cuddling on the couch, either way, when they are all together there are smiles around.

If you ask the kids, they would say that one of their favorite places to be is with their Nana.

In fact, Nana had to head back to work/reality yesterday and bedtime came for the kids, the girls wanted to sleep in Nana's bed.

"No," I said, "You don't need to sleep in there, you have your own beds."
Lanie says "Please mom" and I ask "why"

Lanie and Kenzie then say together, "When we sleep in her bed, it is like Nana is holding us even when she is back in Oregon."

OH MY!!! How do I argue with that! So needless to say, the girls got to sleep in Nana's guest bed.

We love it when Nana comes and spends time with us, even if it is a F*A*S*T long weekend. Anytime we can spend together becomes a Happy Place!
