where have we been...?

I know it has been awhile since I last posted on my blog, but with the holidays and having family in town, we have really had some fun together!!! Here are bits and pieces of the past couple of weeks.

Here we went up to the mountains and played in the snow. As you can see, it was snowing while we were there. It was fun and cold.

There was soooo much snow, we decided to stay the night up there in Coleville, we got up the next morning and headed out early down to the valley. It took 2+ hours to get in the valley, more then double the normal time. It was crazy, but Dan took it slow and careful...
This is what then happened...
While in the valley, only 2 minutes from IHOP, that is where we were going...we were in the turn lane to turn left, when out of the blue, we were hit in the front end of our car...Looking around and figuring out what just happened, moments later we felt ANOTHER hit, this time on the opposite side on the back end!!! Who get hit, TWO different times by TWO different people while being stoped at a light. To add to the drama, during the two hits, my mom broke her front tooth. Boy, it looks real good. Even the cop said that she was a REDNECK Woman now! What a day!
The intersection where it all took place, we were right where the silver car is at.

Santa came, we had a fun morning. I must have been a good girl, Santa brought everything I wanted. Thanks Santa!! My dad is soooo cool.
We spent an evening at dinner together for my sister 25 birthday. She picked the restaurant Goodwood. It is so yummy. Let me tell you, drama and chaos seems to follow us were we go, but we have fun together anyway!
Happy 25th Birthday Feef!!!

One night, we all piled into the car and went to cabella's and then went to the holiday Christmas lights at Thanksgiving Point (AKA Turkey Island) With it being sooooo cold here ( right now it is in the single digits at night) we drive through the lights. The kids love it, it feels like Christmas!

The Annual Springer Christmas Party:
Dan is such an angel!
We get together (almost 30 kids and 16 adults) for exchaning of gifts, desserts, the reading of Christ birth; where the kids all dress up and act it out. Here is Delanie as an angel.

So that is where I have been...busy, yet having fun!
As crazy as the holidays are, we sure have fun making memories and doing activies as family. We have also made candy houses, sugar cookies for Santa.

Hope you all had a fun and safe holiday season and hopefully now I can keep posting better, (One of my new years resolutions for 2008) so watch for what happens in our daily lives uncut and real.
