What is this?
Look carefully, we all have them in our homes.
The common answer would be a smoke detector...
...it is a camera that Santa uses all the way from the North Pole to watch the kids.
When the green light is on (which is always) then that is how the kids know that Santa is actually watching everything they are doing, and with a "camera" in all the rooms of the house, the kids know that they must be good always.
When yelling begins, or fighting starts, all I have to do is give a simple reminder that, "Santa is watching," and all is clam again.
Carson and Cassie are constantly going and looking at the "camera" and I can't believe how good the older girls have been and how much they are willing to help.
Ok. I know what you are thinking, maybe it might be a bit mean or maybe just pure genius.
Either way what you may think, it is working or us now and like I said, the kids haven't been this "good" in a long time. I know that there will be a time where I can't use these type of "incentives," so why not use them now.
Hey, who knows, this "camera" might just come in handy during the rest of the year as well.

Glad to see you've jumped on the bandwagon... works like a charm in my house.
I think that is BRILLIANT!! I should tell my kids that too.
