Not this Saturday!

Saturday is a special day, it's the day we get ready for Sunday.

We clean the house, We shop at the stores, and

We brush our clothes, We shine our shoes, and we call it "our get the work done day."

We trim our nails and shampoo our hair so we can be ready for Sunday.

(Gotta love primary songs)

Well, NOT THIS SATURDAY!!!

This Saturday we played on the lake...Funny...there is nothing about jet skiing in the primary song.

And I do have to admit my Sunday was a bit off after the fun we had (came into primary a little late, but I was there to hear Renae's great Sharing time AND to teach my class and that is the important part)

BUT how can you let a perfectly beautiful day with the sun shining and 2 week before school starts go and pass you by. (listen to me make excuses)

The lake was calling to us, so we packed food, packed our suits and towels, called some friends and family, got the jet skis ready, and we were off to Echo reservoir and spend the entire afternoon on the sands of the "beach"

Let me tell you, all the sun burns that we got, the sand in every crack, the ice creams the kids "dropped" one after another on the floor at the Dairy Keen and having the lady give us "dirty" faces, and the LONG drive home through the opposite canyon (Parley's Canyon was closed, who closes the Canyon on the weekend...gotta love UDOT) the day was PERFECT!

The Laughs, the wind blowing in our hair as you went fast on the jet skis, Feef falling off the jet skis as Kordy was trying to mount them with her on them and giving the entire beach a show, the kids playing, the lady "thinking" that Dan and Curtis were partners playing with "their" puppy up in Park City (come on boys, you were in liberal Park City)

We all had a good time and maybe we might even have to spend another Saturday playing,

heck the weeds and laundry will always be waiting for us when we get back!
